Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the things that come up most — worth a look before you open a ticket below.
The product’s stock changed after you loaded the page but before you saved — likely another staff member, or a live order, updated it in the meantime. Refresh the Stock Table to pull the current value, then reapply your adjustment. If this keeps happening on the same product, check its Audit Log entry to see who (or what) else is adjusting it.
You’ve hit ZexeStock’s write limit of 100 changes per minute, per user — a safety limit against runaway scripts or accidental rapid clicking. It resets automatically after about a minute. If you’re hitting it during normal manual use, batch your edits into one **bulk adjustment** *(Pro)* instead of many single-row saves.
WooCommerce requires every SKU to be unique across your catalog. Search the Stock Table for the SKU to find which product already has it, then choose a different one or clear it from the other product first.
Three things to check: the product has “Manage stock?” enabled (unmanaged products won’t reflect stock changes), any page cache or CDN is purged (ZexeStock updates the database instantly, but a cached page can lag), and — for variable products — you edited the variation, not the parent listing.
First, confirm your license activated — check for a confirmation email or a license-status indicator. Then do a hard refresh of the ZexeStock admin page (not just navigating within the app) so it picks up the new license state. Still locked after that? Use the form below with your purchase/order reference so we can verify the license on our end.
Anyone with the `manage_woocommerce` WordPress capability — typically Shop Manager and Administrator roles. ZexeStock doesn’t have its own permission system; if someone can already manage products and orders in WooCommerce, they can use ZexeStock. Give staff individual accounts rather than sharing a login, since every change is attributed to the account that made it.
No. The Stock Table and Dashboard are a separate admin-only app — they don’t add any code or requests to your live storefront.
ZexeStock is built for single-site WooCommerce stores. On multisite, activate and configure it separately per site.
